Grievance Redressal

Webchirpy is committed to protecting the rights of individuals whose personal data we process. This policy is published in compliance with Section 13 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. Your Rights as a Data Principal
Right to access information: Know what personal data we hold about you
Right to correction: Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
Right to erasure: Have your data deleted when no longer needed
Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent previously given at any time
Right to grievance redressal: Raise a complaint and receive a timely response
Right to nominate: Nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf
Response Time: Within 30 days of receipt of complaint
3. How to Submit a Grievance
Email us at hello@webchirpy.in with the subject line "DPDP Grievance", including:
Your full name
Your email address used when interacting with our website
A clear description of your complaint or the right you wish to exercise
Any relevant supporting information or context
4. Grievance Resolution Process
Acknowledgement — We will acknowledge receipt of your grievance within 72 hours.
Review — Our Grievance Officer will review the complaint and gather relevant information internally.
Resolution — We will provide a written response with our findings within 30 days of receipt.
Escalation — If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
5. Escalation to the Data Protection Board of India
If you are not satisfied with our resolution, the DPDP Act provides you the right to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI). Once the Board's complaint portal is operational, you may file directly through the official portal. For the latest information, refer to www.meity.gov.in.
6. Record Keeping
We maintain records of all grievances and their resolutions for a period of 24 months from the date of resolution, as required under the DPDP Act.
